Theatre Workshop 42 invites you to the theatrical tour „The Story of the Theatre“ - for children.
„The Story of the Theatre“ is a 1-hour journey through the theatre for children aged 6-8 or 9-12 years. During the journey, children will learn everything about the theatre:
- What happens in the theatre
- How a performance is prepared
- What the stage and backstage areas are like
- How actors and makeup artists work
- Who is behind the scenes
- What equipment is used in the theatre and why it is needed
- What the visual language of theatre is like
- How we welcome the audience and why the theatre is called a magical world
What the journey includes:
- Welcome, foyer tour, and a brief explanation - what happens in the theatre foyer;
- Backstage - what happens backstage, what the backstage areas are like (makeup, costume room, actors' dressing rooms);
- The Stage - what it's like, what happens around the stage, what the auditorium is like; why it is designed that way;
- Theatre equipment - what we need for music and lighting.
The tour is booked for groups only.
Tour price: 30 GEL instead of 40 GEL - per child.
The group size must not exceed 25 children!
