Description
...“And again we shall be given a glorious day”...
Samuel Beckett’s “Happy Days” tells us about the transience of a simple, human life. The artistic solution of the play metaphorically shows us a character half-buried in the sand, whose life has passed, although he does not give up and is filled with hope for another happy day.
The characters, filled with sadness, humor, love and tragedy, make us think about the transience of life and true values, while Gia Kancheli’s excellent musical arrangement fills the stage space with human emotions.
